Colorful Fall Wedding

Nowakowski-Wedding-BP-Favorites-00191-e1416806318772.jpg

Steve and Rachel's September wedding was a very fun one for the Trisha's Flowers team! Rachel wanted the flowers to be the most colorful part of her wedding, and I think it was a success! We used quite the variety to pull this all together which is always exciting for us. The textures and colors made this wedding really stand out. All photos by the talented Megan Wark of Blackstone Photography

Billy buttons, hypericum, protea, straw flower, dahlias, delphinium, bells of ireland, beauty berry, celosia, gomphrena, eryngium, wax flower, and the list goes on and on!

We had the pleasure of making a floral crown for the bride. A crown is such a beautiful statement piece!

The groom's boutonniere was orange wax flower, billy buttons, eryngium (blue thistle), and pussy willow.

Each bouquet had one protea in it. This beautiful flower is actually South Africa's national flower, and brought some unique color and texture to the arrangement.

Hydrangea Wedding

Now that summer has come to a close, we look forward to seeing all the beautiful photos from all our brides we had the pleasure of working with. Here are a few snapshots from one summer wedding with beautiful coral zinnias, green hypericum, baby's breath, and green mums. The flower that really stole the show was the hydrangea. Don't those lovely full bunches look gorgeous?! Check out the photos below. Note: All of the reception flower arrangements were DIY. Photos taken by Kelsey Renee Photography

Willow DIY Wedding

HeatherJakeWedding0063-e1408649309201.jpg

Heather found out about Trisha's Flowers while photographing a wedding we had done the flowers for. She contacted us for ordering all of her flowers, and her aunt who is a florist in Colorado made all the magic happen. We were stunned when we saw the pictures from this gorgeous day. Who would have thought all that willow could make such a statement! We love the dramatic garlands, the elegant table runners, and of course the bride looked lovely with her floral crown and cascading bouquet. We thoroughly enjoy being a part of someone's special day, even if it's just to help supply your needs! All photos taken by the talented Jeremiah and Rachel Photography

Blue and White Peony Wedding

AMANDA-ELLIOTT-0511-e1407350006766.jpg

Here's a glimpse at a wedding we did this past Spring. The bouquets had such a fun variety including peonies, roses, bold blue delphinium, pale pink astilbe, lambs ear, wax flowers, and brunnia. This was a fun wedding to do, and looking back makes us miss the very short peony season. All photos by the talented Janae Rose Photography

We think it's so cute when the flower girl has her own mini bouquet.

This pew end made of seeded eucalyptus, wax flower, and delphinium is simple yet elegant.

We have these tall vases available for rent and they make wonderful centerpieces. The height makes it easy for guests to see across the table as well as give a dramatic touch.

What's Happening in the Barn

This was another 3 wedding weekend here at Trisha's Flowers (I believe the third one we've had so far this year!) That many weddings means a full cooler, glue covered fingers, double and triple checking lists, and loads of beautiful flowers. Here's a few pictures of the team at work in the barn this week.

We made a few pretty things this past weekend for a photo session with Mark Van Scyoc. We're looking forward to seeing the end product and be able to use the photos to update our website and promotional material. Here's a glimpse into what we made.

Here's the photographer hard at work! He was awesome to work with!

It can be very fulfilling and satisfying when you push through hurdles and mistakes in order to do something on your own. With the resource of the internet at most people's finger tips, it seems like the options are endless for what you can make without prior knowledge or skill. Here at Trisha's Flowers, we are passionate about seeing your event made special and complete, even if you'd rather do it on your own. Contact us for a free consultation and estimate for your wedding or event, and then order your flowers and greens through us. We've had the pleasure of supplying many brides, and here are a few pictures of what they came up with!

Fall Wedding

Who would have thought a barnyard could look this beautiful!? The perfect fall colors mixed with the rustic scenery and decorations created a stunning visual display. We loved how the flowers turned out for Ryan and Laurell's wedding.

((( All jar arrangements were DIY )))

We like how the mothers of the bride and groom had small clusters to carry

We can't take credit for the potted mums, but aren't they a gorgeous touch?

It was a pleasure to work for you Laurell & Ryan! We wish you all the best in your marriage!

Babies Breath Wedding

Tim and Vanessa had a simple, yet elegant, November wedding. Working with a smaller budget, they went with babies breath for the bulk of their flowers. This sturdy staple flower, usually found as a filler in bouquets, can make a classic and delicate statement when grouped together as the main attraction. Here are a few pictures from their beautiful day.

Alexis + Broke [Monochromatic Wedding]

ALEXIS-BROCK-559-e1386714801944.jpeg

Alexis and Broke had an early November outdoor wedding. The weather turned out to be amazingly warmer than usual and everything worked out beautifully. This wedding was so much fun to do, and we loved playing with the colors she chose. With each of the groomsmen and bridesmaids wearing different, but corresponding colors, the flowers were very eye-catching. Check out some of these pictures from her big day

Sunflower Wedding

Who knew that blue dresses and yellow flowers could look so fantastic together?! Here are a few glimpses at the flowers that added a splash of color to Brad + Krista's wedding.

We arranged these floral sprays for the posts of their canopy

We created the floral balls but the centerpieces were DIY
